We never knew a time before Covid....so we got this!
We may be a little insane for opening a store during a pandemic but hey - ya'll will be home a lot more and we want to help make that as pleasant as possible! Because we opened in 2020 we haven't had the chance to develop bad habits and we openend with strict cleaning protocols in place...
We want everyone who enters Hunt and Home to feel comfortable while they are shopping with us. Not everyone follows the same procedures in their daily lives and although there may be a variety of opinions out there we are striving to follow guidelines laid out by provincial health authorities.
We are confident that we are providing a store environment that’s safe for everyone.
How We Are Caring for Our Clients
- Our workplace policy ensures that team members and other showing symptoms of COVID-19 are prohibited from our workplace
- We are following all ordinances for our industry provided by WorkSafeBC
- We have implemented enhanced daily cleanliness and sanitation protocols
- We have reduced our occupancy to a conservative 7 to establish more space & social distance for those that are shopping
- We are providing alcohol-based hand sanitizer at the entrance of the store as well as masks
- Glass barriers have been installed at the Cash Desk & cleaned regularly
- Pricing is listed on shelves when possible in order to minimize touching of product
- We are continuing to provide curbside pick up for online/telephone orders
- We are happy to provide shopping by appointment outside of regular business hours
- Our goal is to provide efficient service with minimal contact, therefore long & casual conversations between clients & staff should be limited (if possible) and kept at a safe distance
